Del Tunupopo also known as “Dellarenta” is a fa’afafine from the village of Faga’itua, American Samoa. Del brings a strong background in administrative and logistical work. For 6 years she worked as a paraprofessional counselor in behavioral health; and has served as the logistics and data officer for the State of Hawaii Senate for 3 years. Most recently, She has served as a Support Specialist at McGee air services later got promoted to Equipment Supervisor for McGee. She is a proud graduate of the University of Hawai’i at Hilo and avid reader of historical novels. Some of her hobbies include designing traditional Samoan garments, passionate in Siva Samoa, flower arrangements and decor; a well known musician with amazing vocal abilities. There is nothing she can not do, hence the reason why she is known among her friends as “The Jack of all Trades.” Del is excited to offer her skill set to the work of UTOPIA. “I am humbled by this opportunity. UTOPIA has been my home away from home and I am honored to be apart of the great collective work that we get to do for our community.”
