Having the support you need is crucial to cultivating your own path. UTOPIA Washington offers two peer support groups: Real Talk and Warriors of Wisdom.
Our Support Initiatives
Real Talk
Real Talk is a place where you can find support, acceptance, empowerment, healing and growth. We believe that it is important to build relationships and foster an understanding between each community members while learning the value of each individual through a variety of experiences. Real Talk is hosted by Essaundra Ta’amu.
Warriors of Wisdom
A program that provides an opportunity for our senior 2SLGBTQIA+ & ally participants to cultivate relationships with our youth. WOW is an avenue that allows participants to impart their lived experiences with each other, find ways to offer social and emotional support for one another.
