Adai Ambassadors are people who believe so strongly in what we do that they share our mission with their friends, community, and peers in the hopes of connecting more people to the work we’re doing together. Adai Ambassadors are the greatest champions of our work, and do more for furthering our mission than we could ever do alone.

UTOPIA Washington is a queer and trans people of color-led, grassroots nonprofit organization born out of the struggles, challenges, strength, and resilience of the Queer and Trans Pacific Islander community in South King County. Since 2009 they have worked to address basic needs, build pathways toward new expanded career and life opportunities, foster a sense of common purpose, and advocate for social justice, education, and overall wellness among members of the Pacific Islander LGBTQIA+ community. They also seek to build trust and common ground as a convener and bridge-builder between the Pacific Islander community and the LGBTQIA+ community, who often share many of the same issues and concerns.

UTOPIA Washington has been able to achieve so much in the years since its inception, but they need our help to continue the work. By becoming an Adai Ambassador I’m honored to support this mission. I have made a commitment to volunteering my time, resources, and skills to programs focusing on community organizing, civic engagement, cultural stewardship, and collective wellness, and I invite you to do the same!

As Adai Ambassadors we are doing the critical work of sharing the values, mission, and vision of UTOPIA Washington with our communities, and ensuring these programs and services not only receive critical support, but have the chance to connect with even more people in need.
