UTOPIA Washington’s Membership: A collective of passionate individuals—Queer and Trans Pacific Islanders (QTPI), 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, and allies—committed to making a meaningful impact. As a member, you will be an essential part of the heart work that grounds UTOPIA Washington’s direct services, community building, and advocacy efforts. This is an opportunity to not only empower yourself but also uplift others, strengthening the bonds of solidarity, resilience, and care. Join us in creating a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
How to become a Member:
Becoming a Member
Annual Recurring Membership Fee: $100
- The invaluable opportunity to connect with other individuals in this work and throughout WA state that are dedicated to making an impact for our community.
- 15% off personal purchase of ticket to:
- MANA OLA Fundraiser
- Miss Island Goddess Pageant
- Leadership Development Training
- Conference Attendance / National Convening Opportunities (application process)
- Assistance and guidance for a personal project and/or outreach event that aligns with UTOPIA’s mission and values.
- Benefit from a flexible membership payment plan, making it easy to complete your membership investment. $100 Annual Membership Fee.
- Participate in an Introductory Orientation with our Development Coordinator to get familiar with our mission and impact.
- Enjoy a site visit and tour of our office and gathering spaces to see firsthand how we serve the community.
- Attend at least 4 monthly meetings throughout the year (hybrid options available), offering you the chance to engage and stay connected (12 meetings annually).
- Join quarterly tabling events, where you’ll support our direct services, share information, and connect with our community.
Recognized self-determined and self-identified members who want more in-depth participation, leadership training, and deepened relationship with the organization.
As a Core Member, you’ll have the opportunity to make a deeper impact by:
- Volunteering at 2 events per quarter, actively contributing to our community initiatives.
- Joining a planning committee of your choice, whether for fundraising or programmatic events, helping shape our most important efforts.
- Hosting or attending at least 2 skill-share or resource-share events annually, building and sharing knowledge within our community.
- Engaging in our social media campaigns and public outreach, amplifying our message and fostering greater community awareness.
